Kenya Met warns of heavy rain in 40 counties, including Narok and Mombasa, to 28 October

The Kenya Meteorological Service Authority (KMSA), formerly the Kenya Meteorological Department, expects more than 20 millimetres of rain within 24 hours in parts of Kenya from 24 to 28 October, with large waves and strong winds on the coast; The Star listed 40 affected counties on 25 October.

Kenyan dumpling seller Caroline Mungiria learnt from Chinese cookbooks and now has a Nairobi shop

Caroline Mungiria began Noi Dumplings as a cloud kitchen in September 2025 and now has a store at Diamond Plaza in Nairobi that records 40 to 50 sales a day, Business Daily reported on 22 October 2026 in a profile of three Kenyan dumpling sellers in Nairobi and Mombasa.

Kenyan court orders Mombasa County to pay KSh 350 million over Mwakirunge dumpsite
