Four investors have committed up to KSh 7.12bn of Quickmart's KSh 15bn share sale, including an IFC pledge that needs board approval, Capital FM reported on 26 October 2026.
Sokoni Retail Kenya, the sole owner of Kenyan supermarket chain Quickmart, is selling half the company at KSh 7.50 a share from 5 October to 30 October, with NSE trading due on 12 November and all proceeds going to Sokoni, the offer website says.
On 5 October 2026, Quickmart's existing shareholder Sokoni Retail Kenya opened an offer of 2 billion shares at KSh 7.50 each, worth KSh 15 billion, ahead of Quickmart's listing on the Nairobi Securities Exchange. The offer closes on 30 October.
