The Democratic Republic of Congo's Health Ministry confirmed two Ebola cases, one of them fatal, in North Ubangi province in a report released on 18 October, Xinhua reported.
A Kenyan drivers' association urged drivers on 15 October to suspend non-essential trips on the Mahagi–Kisangani corridor in the DRC after the reported killing of a Kenyan driver; six drivers whose capture by rebels it had reported on 14 October were said to have been found safe, The Star reported.
