Kenya's under-five mortality falls to 37 per 1,000 live births in new national survey
The Kenya National Bureau of Statistics survey of 29,935 households, launched on 3 November 2026, also finds 91% of births in health facilities and teenage pregnancy down to 11.9%, from 14.8% in 2022.
