Ethiopia's central bank draws US$152 million in bids at 13 October dollar auction

Banks bid US$152.09 million for the US$140 million the National Bank of Ethiopia offered at its 13 October foreign-exchange auction, and successful bids averaged 160.1072 birr per dollar, the Ethiopian newspaper Capital reported on 14 October 2026.
