About the event

Coffee for a Cause is a relaxed gathering at Geco Café in Lavington for people who want to learn about Agatha Amani House, a Kenyan organisation that gives women and children affected by sexual and domestic violence a safe home and help to rebuild their lives.

The idea is simple: coffee, conversation and meeting others interested in social impact, with an open talk about how individuals and communities can contribute to safer futures for women and children.

It is hosted by Félicia Querenghi, a French volunteer with the house during October, and Nyakio, the founder. The group is kept small, so RSVP is required; food and drinks are paid for individually.
