About the event

The Affordable Art Show, the Kenya Museum Society's main fundraiser, returns to the Nairobi National Museum for three days. Its ticketing page bills it as East Africa's largest art exhibition, with more than 400 artists from across the region showing over 750 works, from first-time exhibitors to internationally recognised names.

The show is juried: every piece is reviewed, and its price is agreed between the artist and a panel that includes the National Museums of Kenya's Curator of Art. A share of each sale goes to the Society's projects at the National Museums of Kenya.

Things open with an evening event on Friday 16 October from 4pm, and the show continues from 10am on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are sold through KenyaBuzz.
